Installed in the north of the province of Limburg in Bocholt, Belgium where we provide our veterinary service specialized in sport horses.
We are a team of veterinarians working around the world as a joint network, all of them experts in orthopedics and sports medicine for horses.
Dr. Marcos Würschmidt is an expert in horse orthopedic disease, with a PhD doctorate degree in horse joints problems and 20 years of experience as a veterinarian. Most the time he develops the activity in Belgium and also travels regularly to work with sport horses throughout Europe, South America and USA.

Dr. Würschmidt worked and always full training sport horse focused at different sites such as:
- in the area of surgery Elgin Veterinary Hospital in Texas, USA, in 2002-2003.
- Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, Kentucky, USA, in 2004-2005
- Private Clinic traveling with sport horses, Windsor, England in 2006
- Veterinary Hospital University Alfonso X El Sabio, Madrid, Spain, in 2007
- Equine Hospital Service Kentucky, USA in 2008-2010.
- Private travel clinic in SERVEQ (founder and owner Dr. Würschmidt) from 2011 to 2018.
- Currently installed in the north of the province of Limburg in Belgium, he works at SPORT HORSES VET (founder and owner Dr. Wurschmidt)
Graduate Degrees
He received the Diploma of Advanced Studies for his research in Kentucky, USA in 2004-2010, on the incidence of articular Osteocodrosis Dissecting in Horses.
He obtained a doctorate degree (PhD) with the collaboration of prestigious veterinarians in Lexington, Kentucky, USA.
